    Norfolk Court's hospital care services are designed to provide high-quality medical care and support to individuals who require a higher level of care than can be provided at home. As a family-owned care home, we understand the importance of compassionate care and are committed to ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and attention. Our experienced nursing staff provides round-the-clock care and support to ensure that our residents' medical needs are met with the utmost professionalism and expertise. We also provide a range of amenities and services designed to make our residents' stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. At Norfolk Court, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and supportive environment where our residents can feel at home and confident in their care.

    Rooms and service

     We encourage you to call us or visit us and take a tour of our home, meet the team, have a cup of tea or coffee and get the general feel of our facility.

    Rooms

    We have a variety of rooms available.

    1. We have Standard Rooms ( in renovated Mr.Dargaville Villa)
    2. We have rooms which have a shared Toilet and shower and access to outdoor areas. These rooms are great for couples.
    3. We have our large Premium rooms which have a full private Ensuite, Toilet and Shower and access to outdoor areas
    4. We provide all of the furnishings, bedding, etc. that you will need, however you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
    5. You will have access to our Wifi
    6. Pets are welcome at our facility

    Service:

    1. Our Kitchen services will be provided by professional cooks and our baking experts daily, we provide  produce sourced from local growers. Snacks are available at all times as well as tea, coffee, juice and fruit.  (menu attached)
    2. Household staff (cleaning and laundry ) are here every day to keep the home fresh and hygienic. Laundry completed on site and must be named before bringing it in
    3. We have NZ Fire Safety approved emergency systems throughout the building and full risk management plans in place should a disaster happen.
    4. All necessary equipment is provided for resident's use, i.e. wheelchairs, shower chairs, commodes, lifting aids, etc.
    5. High quality high-low bed with pressure mattress.
    6. Lazy boy, bedside table, tall/low boy drawers, nightingale table, linen provided in all bedrooms and televisions provided on your request
    7. Generous Rooms sizes, large wardrobes and all rooms have a ranch slider to outside.
    8. We do not have visiting hours, we are open to family and friends whenever you want to visit, however we only ask that you try and avoid breakfast, lunch and dinner time for our elderly living in our Secure Dementia wing as this can distract them from their meals, however if you wish to spend the meal time with your loved one you are welcome to advise one of the staff member and we can find you a  quiet table or set up a table in their room to do so.
